Arabian and All-Breed Horse Training - Western, English, Huntseat, Halter

As early as age 5, Crystal’s Mom and Dad (Margie and Russell) saw that Crystal had an unusual gift working with horses. They spent all of their, time and resources investing in riding programs for Crystal to be a part of. Crystal was continuously immersed in the world of performance show horses.   Since her family did not have much money Crystal began working in various barns in exchange for lessons and riding experience at age 10. Her trainers recognized her talents and began using her skills to help handle and ride difficult horses. As a result, she grew up riding and working for some of the best trainers in the business:

Shannon Armstrong & Jane Nichols (Feature Farms - AHA National Champions), Lisa Wysocki (ApHA World Champion), Lynne Dye-Husted (Boulder Knoll Stables), Jack Stecker (AQHA World Champion), Dave McKay (AHA National Champion), Judy Hook (AHA National Champion), Kathy Johnson (Johnson Arabians), Eddy Wiggens (Atwood Arabians & Atwood Saddlebreds)

Crystal still works with top level, nationally recognized trainers whenever possible including AHA Horseman of the year Jodi Strand (Strand’s Arabians). Most recently with Doug Stewart (Stewart Performance Horses) and Dennis Wigren (R.O.Lervick Arabians).

"My goal is to help every horse and every rider achieve their highest potential, no matter what discipline or what level of competition"

- Crystal

Crystal’s training program has produced numerous titles in multiple breeds including:  Regional, National and World Champions.  See "In The Winners Circle" in our photo galleries for a few of those titles.

                       BRITTANY HUSSER - Assistant Trainer

Brittany rode her first horse at 4 years old and was in love from that point on. Her family bought their first horse when she was 10 and Brittany attended her first Zone show at age 12.  Riding for several years with Christine Oliver-Hammond, Brittany’s love of horses grew and grew.

Brittany Husser started as an intern at Cedar Hill Training Center in early 2011. Through her hard work and dedication she was promoted to the position of Head Intern in fall of 2011. In this capacity, she not only continued to improve her riding, training and coaching abilities, she improved her skills by managing the interns and working student program. In 2012 Brittany was again promoted to Assistant Trainer and has begun showing clients horses at breed shows and as always she continues to improve and develop her skills as a trainer and business manager.  It is Brittany’s goal to eventually have her own training business in New Mexico.  We love Brittany and she is an incredible asset to Cedar Hill Training Center.
